Vikings improve to 6-0 with 16-10 win over Colts, but offense historically weak: 125 points (2nd fewest for 6-0 team since 1940) and 10 touchdowns (fewest since 1933 Bears). Coach Kevin O'Connell insists "We're not far off" despite offensive struggles.
Defense and special teams carry Minnesota, but schedule toughens: next four games vs Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers. Only Bills at U.S. Bank Stadium. O'Connell acknowledges need to improve before gauntlet.
Kyler Murray (35-yard scramble, TD to T.J. Hockenson) and Justin Jefferson express optimism. Murray: "We'll continue to get better." Jefferson expects comfort to increase. Near misses: two incomplete passes to Jefferson, Jauan Jennings drop, penalties on Christian Darrisaw and Blake Brandel.
O'Connell emphasizes controllable factors: penalty-free, turnover-free, win field position. Vikings have chance to win many games if offense catches up.
