Jacksonville Jaguars nose tackle Da Von Hamilton is expected to miss the remainder of the NFL season after suffering a torn quadriceps muscle during their 42-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Hamilton was injured in the second quarter and taken to the locker room via cart. Coach Liam Coen called Hamilton "the key" to Jacksonville's top-ranked run defense.
Hamilton recorded 16 tackles, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a half sack over seven games this season. In his final season of a three-year, $34.5 million contract extension signed in April 2023, Hamilton is a team leader on and off the field. Coach Coen praised Hamilton's competitive spirit and leadership, noting his reassuring presence during practice.
Tough to see that, obviously.
