The Eagles are placing three-time Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson on injured reserve due to a knee injury, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Dickerson confirmed the move during a Monday radio appearance on WIP's "Players Lounge Show," saying, "I'm going to assume that's correct." He admitted he "played like s---" in Philadelphia's 24-22 season-opening win over Washington, calling himself "a complete liability." Dickerson underwent meniscus surgery in August 2025 and later pursued stem cell therapy in Columbia, but never regained full form. He described the current injury as a bone bruise in his right knee unrelated to last year's issue, sustained when he was "rolled up on" in practice. "Really the best plan going forward is to put me on IR so I can have a good stretch at the back end of the season," he said.

Drew Kendall, a 2025 fifth-round pick from Boston College, is expected to replace him. Coach Nick Sirianni praised Dickerson's toughness and contributions, acknowledging the need to move forward. The Philadelphia Inquirer first reported the IR designation.
