Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker Charles Snowden has been suspended for the first three games of the 2026 season, as announced by the NFL's transactions wire. Snowden is permitted to participate in all preseason activities, including games, with the suspension commencing after the league's roster cutdown to 53 players.

The specific reason for the suspension was not disclosed. However, it follows a January plea agreement to resolve a DUI arrest from 2024 when Snowden was with the Las Vegas Raiders. He pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor DUI charge, incurring a $1,000 fine and mandatory courses. This charge is slated for reduction to reckless driving upon completion of the agreement's terms.

The Cowboys signed Snowden as a free agent last month. In his career, he has accumulated 4.5 sacks and 28 tackles across 33 games. Last season with the Raiders, Snowden recorded a personal best of three sacks and his first NFL interception in 15 games.
