Los Angeles Chargers center Tyler Biadasz is out indefinitely after suffering ACL damage and additional injuries to his left knee during Tuesday's joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Biadasz underwent an MRI and will consult more doctors for further clarity. The injury occurred when 49ers defensive tackle Sebastian Valdez fell into Biadasz's leg during an 11-on-11 drill. He remained on the ground for nearly five minutes before being helped onto a medical cart.

Biadasz, 28, signed with the Chargers in March after playing last season with the Washington Commanders. He was a key addition to the Chargers' revamped offensive line under general manager Joe Hortiz, starting 31 games over the past two seasons with Washington. Originally selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2020 draft, Biadasz started all 49 games he played for Dallas and earned a Pro Bowl selection following the 2022 season.

The Chargers host the 49ers on Thursday in their second preseason game, with Biadasz's absence creating a significant void in the interior offensive line.
