Calvin Ridley Restructures Deal to Stay with Titans

The Tennessee Titans have restructured Calvin Ridley's contract to keep the veteran wide receiver in Nashville for the 2026 season. The move came just before a $2 million roster bonus was due, with a source confirming the agreement to ESPN.

Ridley signed a four-year, $92 million contract with the Titans in March 2024 that included $50 million guaranteed. The restructuring addresses what would have been a $26.5 million salary cap hit. The 31-year-old missed most of last season after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 6, then breaking his fibula in Week 11. He finished with just 17 receptions for 303 yards in seven games.

Keeping Ridley allows him to pair with newly signed free agent Wan'Dale Robinson, who agreed to a four-year, $78 million contract earlier this week. Ridley also reunites with offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, his former coach at Alabama. General manager Mike Borgonzi said at the scouting combine that Ridley's rehab process has been going great, suggesting the receiver could return to form in 2026.
