The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are finalizing a deal to hire Zac Robinson as their new offensive coordinator, sources told ESPN. Robinson, who spent the last two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, was not retained after the firing of coach Raheem Morris. This move comes after the Bucs fired first-year OC Josh Grizzard.

Tampa Bay's offense regressed last season, ranking 21st in total offense and seeing scoring drop to 21.4 points per game. For quarterback Baker Mayfield, this marks his fifth OC in five seasons. Robinson's background includes a stint with the Los Angeles Rams, where he worked his way up to passing game coordinator.

With the Falcons, Robinson guided an offense that ranked 14th overall but struggled after quarterback Michael Penix Jr. suffered a season-ending ACL injury. The unit finished 24th in scoring. Now in Tampa, he faces the challenge of revitalizing an offense that has underperformed despite playoff appearances.
