Browns Sign Jenkins to $24M Deal After Packers Release

The Cleveland Browns have signed former Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins to a two-year contract worth $24 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The move comes after the Packers released Jenkins on Monday, following their re-signing of Sean Rhyan as his replacement at center.

Jenkins, 30, brings Pro Bowl experience to Cleveland after being selected twice at left guard in 2020 and 2022. The Browns' offensive line overhaul continues with this signing, marking their third external acquisition at the position this offseason. Jenkins started nine games at center for Green Bay in 2025 before suffering a fractured ankle in November against Philadelphia.

The Browns are aggressively rebuilding their offensive line, having also agreed to terms with former Chargers guard Zion Johnson on a three-year, $49.5 million deal and acquiring Texans right tackle Tytus Howard in a trade that includes a $45 million extension. Cleveland re-signed Teven Jenkins earlier Tuesday, adding further depth to their revamped front.
