Cleveland Browns head coach Todd Monken confirmed he's looking forward to an upcoming meeting with Deion Sanders, father of Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders. The meeting was initially planned for May but delayed when Deion had to shoot a commercial.

Deion previously expressed interest in meeting Monken to discuss coaching strategies for Shedeur, whom he coached through college. "I want to meet him because I think it's vital that as a coach, not the dad, I can tell him a few things about [Shedeur]," Deion said during a YouTube interview.

Shedeur, a 2025 fifth-round pick who started seven games as a rookie, is currently competing with Deshaun Watson for the Browns' starting quarterback position. After Wednesday's OTA practice, Monken stated he believes Cleveland has "two starting-level quarterbacks" with both players showing strong performance.

The Browns coaching staff continues to evaluate both quarterbacks daily. Monken noted he leans one way or the other depending on which player performs better each day, keeping the competition open as training camp approaches.
