Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry expressed "hopeful" sentiments regarding the potential re-signing of veteran defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.

Clowney, 33, visited the Browns facility on Wednesday, and Berry described the visit as "really good," though acknowledged that "things that we still have to work through."

Clowney previously played for the Browns from 2021-22, recording 11 sacks. His tenure ended controversially after public comments critical of the team's focus, leading to his release. Berry stated that reconciliation is possible, highlighting that Clowney made a "mistake" and that the team feels comfortable bringing him back if it's the right fit for both sides.

Clowney had a productive season with the Dallas Cowboys last year, and the Browns are seeking a rotational pass rusher. The team recently acquired Jared Verse.
