Bills Trade for Bears WR DJ Moore

The Buffalo Bills have agreed to acquire Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore in a trade, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal cannot be finalized until the start of the 2026 league year next week. This move addresses a major need for Buffalo, which has lacked a true No. 1 receiver since trading Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in 2024.

Moore, 27, had 50 receptions for 682 yards and six touchdowns last season with the Bears. Over three seasons in Chicago, he accumulated 244 catches for 3,012 yards and 20 touchdowns. His consistent production and big-play ability make him an ideal target for quarterback Josh Allen, who has thrived with elite receivers throughout his career.

The trade represents a significant investment by the Bills in upgrading their passing attack. Moore's addition gives Allen a proven weapon who can stretch the field and make contested catches. For the Bears, trading Moore suggests they're entering a rebuild phase after failing to build a competitive team around their former Pro Bowl receiver.
