ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills head coach Joe Brady, 36, operates on three to four hours of sleep nightly, fueled by espresso and Gatorade Fast Twitch energy drinks. The NFL's youngest head coach acknowledges caffeine is "just an assist" for his relentless brain. Quarterback Josh Allen notes Brady's fast-talking, wired energy during early morning meetings.

Brady inherits a team with the second-highest Super Bowl LXI odds (10-1, per DraftKings Sportsbook) and has implemented immediate cultural changes. Practice music now includes explicit lyrics at players' request, training camp moved earlier to simulate game weeks, and offense/defense switched jersey colors. "This is Year 1 in the Joe Brady era," Allen said. "It's going to take the conviction to buy in."

General manager Brandon Beane retains control as president of football operations, with Brady reporting to Beane instead of owner Terry Pegula. The Bills open Week 1 at the Houston Texans (1 p.m. ET, CBS) as Brady's high-energy approach faces its first regular-season test.
