The NFL confirmed Sunday’s Week 9 showdown will see the Cincinnati Bengals travel to Madrid to face the Atlanta Falcons. Set for Nov. 8, the contest will unfold inside Real Madrid’s Bernabéu Stadium and stream on NFL Network. Both clubs now add an overseas stop to their 2026 calendars.

Madrid marks the Bengals’ first overseas game since their 2019 London loss to the Rams, a trip that coincided with head coach Zac Taylor’s debut season. Taylor welcomed the chance to swap a hostile domestic venue for a neutral European crowd, saying he prefers the experience of playing abroad.

For Atlanta, the Madrid fixture is the fourth international outing in six seasons, reinforcing the league’s push to grow the brand in Europe. The Falcons were already listed as the home side when the NFL first revealed the venue, leaving only their opponent unknown until Tuesday’s disclosure.

Madrid joins seven other overseas sites on the 2026 slate, including Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, Munich, Mexico City and three games in London. The full schedule drops Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, accompanied by a two‑hour prime‑time special on ESPN and NFL Network, cementing the NFL’s global expansion agenda.
