The New York Giants hosted free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for a workout and physical Monday, sources told ESPN. A return to the team that drafted him in 2014 remains a possibility, though no signing appears imminent. The Giants likely want to evaluate how the draft unfolds later this week before committing.

Beckham, 33, has been training in Arizona this offseason and expressed a strong desire to play this season. He met with Giants ownership and new coach John Harbaugh several weeks back at the NFL's annual meetings to make his case. The three-time Pro Bowler didn't play last season, appearing in just nine games for the Miami Dolphins in 2023 with nine catches for 55 yards.

Harbaugh spoke favorably about Beckham at the meetings, noting they've maintained a strong relationship since working together in Baltimore in 2023 when Beckham had 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns. "He's one of my very favorite people in the world," Harbaugh said. Quarterback Jaxson Dart and wide receiver Malik Nabers have reportedly advocated for adding Beckham, with Nabers publicly petitioning on Instagram.

The Giants have added receivers Darnell Mooney and Calvin Austin III in free agency while re-signing Isaiah Hodgins. General manager Joe Schoen said Beckham's name remains on their list of available free agents, but the team's cautious approach suggests they're waiting to see how their draft board develops before pursuing a reunion.
