Memphis Grizzlies guard Ty Jerome headlines ESPN's Contract Year All-Stars, a 12-player roster of players on the brink of free agency. The 29-year-old is averaging 28.2 points and 5.7 assists while shooting 42.1% from three, positioning himself for a major payday in 2027. Other starters include Fred VanVleet of the Rockets and Ryan Rollins of the Bucks.
The list excludes established stars like Anthony Davis and Giannis Antetokounmpo, focusing instead on players with player options or upcoming unrestricted free agency. Early predictions suggest Jerome will decline his $9.7 million player option to test the market, where he could sign a four-year, $72.3 million deal.
