New Philadelphia 76ers star LeBron James has launched his latest off‑the‑court venture, starting a new YouTube channel focused on golf. James debuted the new channel with a 90‑plus‑minute video featuring a reunion of the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers on a golfing trip in Scotland that took place in June.

That Cavaliers team won the NBA championship, ending a 52‑year title drought in Cleveland, with a historic comeback against ellos Golden State Warriors. Among the players on the trip were Kevin Love, J.R. Smith, Richard Jefferson, Tristan Thompson and Channing Frye.

James considered a return to the Cavaliers during the offseason but ultimately signed with the 76ers, calling it the final free‑agency decision of his NBA career. He discussed his rising interest in golf in an interview with NBA agent and Boardroom co‑founder Rich Kleiman in July.

In the CNBC Sport x Boardroom Game Plan Summit in New York City, James said, ‘My goal is to open doors for kids that look like me…’ He wants inner‑city children to access country clubs and play the game.
