Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown was ejected in the second quarter of Tuesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs after receiving back-to-back technical fouls. The incident occurred when Brown argued with officials over a turnover call involving Spurs guard Stephon Castle. Brown appeared to stumble out of bounds during the play and contended Castle had pushed him.

Official Tyler Ford initially whistled Brown for a technical foul, but the Celtics guard continued arguing. A second technical foul was called by official Suyash Mehta, resulting in Brown's ejection. The Celtics held a 51-49 lead when Brown left the game. He had scored eight points in 13 minutes on 4-of-8 shooting, adding seven assists and two rebounds before his departure.

Brown has had a contentious relationship with NBA officials this season, including a $35,000 fine in January for postgame comments about referees. Entering the game, the five-time All-Star was averaging 28.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 5.1 assists for Boston. His ejection comes at a crucial point in the season as the Celtics maintain their position atop the Eastern Conference standings.
