J.T. Ginn threw a no-hitter through the eighth inning on Monday, mesmerizing A's fans in Anaheim. Then Adam Frazier lined a leadoff single to open the ninth, and Zach Neto followed with a two-run homer that erased the perfect game and gave the Angels a 2-1 walk-off victory. The Angels snapped a six-game losing streak with their third walk-off win of the season.

Frazier punched an 0-2 pitch over shortstop for the Angels' third baserunner of the night. Neto then drove a 2-0 sinker 413 feet to center for his eighth home run, marking his first career walk-off home run and only his second career walk-off hit. Ginn had struck out 10 batters and was perfect through 4⅓ innings, coming within three outs of the first no-hitter since Shota Imanaga's in September 2024.

Ginn threw 105 pitches, 64 for strikes, and improved to 2-2 with 10 strikeouts on the night. The right-hander from Mississippi, turning 27 on Wednesday, saw his 30th career start end in devastation. The Angels hadn't been no-hit since September 11, 1999. This marked the eighth time a team has lost a no-hit bid in the ninth since 2024, with three of those teams also losing the game.
