Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star Andy Pages fractured his left hand after being hit by a pitch during Friday night's 5-4 win over the visiting [ADDRESS]. The center fielder was struck on the back of his hand by a pitch from [PERSON_NAME] in the third inning and took first base. He advanced to third before the inning ended. Pages was replaced by [PERSON_NAME] to start the fifth. Manager [PERSON_NAME] said X-rays revealed the break.

"It's not season-ending because obviously things like that it's four or five weeks," [PERSON_NAME] said. "I would expect him back, knowing him, on the earlier side. There's still time in the season for him to be back. I feel for him because he's having such a good year." Roberts said it's possible Pages could need surgery, but he doesn't believe that would change the timetable for him to return. Pages was placed on the injured list Saturday, with the [PERSON_NAME] recalling outfielder [PERSON_NAME] in a corresponding move.

Utility player [PERSON_NAME], who had the winning single in the 10th inning, could play some center field in Pages' absence, [PERSON_NAME] said. Pages is hitting .272 with 21 home runs and 80 RBIs. He earned his first All-Star selection this season.
