Aaron Judge's Rib Injury Update

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge will undergo further imaging of his injured rib during the upcoming All-Star break. The team hopes the tests will confirm the three-time AL MVP is progressing in his recovery.

Judge has been sidelined since May 31 and was placed on the injured list on June 5 with a stress fracture in his right rib. General Manager Brian Cashman stated the team will not rush Judge's return, emphasizing he must be asymptomatic and showing signs of healing on scans before resuming play.

The Yankees have struggled without their star slugger, posting a 14-19 record in his absence entering their series finale against the Tampa Bay Rays. Judge's injury has also limited his ability to engage in upper body workouts due to the inability to stress his rib cage. The upcoming scans are expected to provide a clearer picture of his rehabilitation status.
