Indiana prosecutors filed felony stalking charges Wednesday against 48‑year‑old Kevin Singh for harassing WNBA forward Sophie Cunningham. Singh also faces felony intimidation and a misdemeanor harassment citation. He was taken into custody Tuesday after investigators linked a flurry of threatening X posts and a hand‑delivered package to the player.

Cunningham told investigators the messages drove her to stay home and suffer nightmares. She first reported the abuse in February; Singh’s posts grew more menacing after team security intervened. A cease‑and‑desist letter was sent April 30, yet Singh replied with explicit threats, including “You’re literally down the street from me!” and later mailed a Guns N’ Roses shirt sprayed with cologne to Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The case follows a similar stalking incident involving teammate Caitlin Clark, whose harasser received a 2½‑year prison term last year. Singh, already on probation for two 2025 privacy felonies, now confronts potentially harsher penalties. Prosecutor Ryan Mears emphasized that online intimidation will be prosecuted vigorously, underscoring the legal risk for anyone targeting public athletes. Her team’s security protocols have been reviewed in response to the threat.
