The Atlanta Dream are still determining where they will host their home games for the upcoming WNBA Finals against the Golden State Valkyries.
The Dream are scheduled to host Games 3, 4 and 6 (if necessary) on Oct. 22, 24 and 29. Their current home arena since 2021 has been Gateway Center Arena at College Park, which holds only 3,500 fans. That small capacity is a concern for the Finals, but the Dream have not confirmed whether they have secured a larger facility.
Dream president and chief operating officer Morgan Shaw Parker said last week the team was "finalizing details on their home venue and where we will be playing" for the Finals. The Dream and the WNBA did not offer further details Sunday when contacted by ESPN.
This year, the Dream moved five regular-season home games and all three previous playoff games to State Farm Arena in downtown Atlanta, which has a capacity of 17,044. However, State Farm is booked with a Sombr concert on Oct. 22 and Atlanta Hawks regular-season games on Oct. 24 and 29. The team will move back to State Farm full-time starting in 2027.
