No. 15 West Virginia defeated No. 10 TCU 62-53 to win the Big 12 women's basketball tournament championship in Kansas City. Jordan Harrison led the Mountaineers with 20 points, six rebounds, and four assists, while Sydney Shaw added 17 points. Kierra Wheeler contributed 10 points as West Virginia avenged two regular-season losses to the Horned Frogs.

The second-seeded Mountaineers (27-6) captured their first Big 12 tournament title since the 2016-17 season. TCU's Olivia Miles, the league player of the year, scored 17 points despite playing in foul trouble. Marta Suarez added 16 points but struggled from the field at 6-of-19 shooting and fouled out in the final minute. West Virginia's defensive pressure disrupted TCU's rhythm throughout the game.

West Virginia built a 56-43 lead with 90 seconds remaining before TCU mounted a late run. Harrison sealed the victory with two free throws in the final 33 seconds. The Mountaineers will likely receive a fourth or fifth seed in the NCAA tournament and play on the road in the first round. TCU is expected to host early-round games and could advance to regionals at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth.
