Olivia Miles exploded for a career-high 16 rebounds and 14 assists to notch her 12th triple-double of the season, leading third-seeded TCU to an 86-40 first-round NCAA tournament win over UC San Diego. The Horned Frogs extended their home win streak to 43 games, their longest in program history. Miles' performance marked only the third time in women's NCAA tournament history with multiple triple-doubles, joining Sabrina Ionescu (2018-19) and Nicole Powell (2002). Taylor Bigby scored a career-high 27 points, while Clara Silva and Marta Suarez added double-doubles.

Miles, who previously set NCAA single-game assist records at Notre Dame, broke Brittney Griner and Shalee Lehning's Big 12 career triple-double tie. UC San Diego's Erin Condron scored 12 points, but the Tritons struggled offensively against TCU's stifling defense. The Frogs will seek their second consecutive Sweet 16 appearance when they host the winner of Washington vs. South Dakota State.
