The Unrivaled playoffs kick off Saturday with six teams competing for a $600,000 prize pool in the Miami-based league's second postseason. The format expands from four teams in 2025, with the top seeds Phantom and Mist earning semifinal byes. The championship game will be held Wednesday in Miami, wrapping up five days of single-elimination basketball.

This year marks the first time playoff games will travel, with semifinals moving to Barclays Center in New York on Monday. The league previously set attendance records when it played in Philadelphia, selling out 21,490 seats at Xfinity Mobile Arena. The expanded format and road games reflect Unrivaled's growing popularity in its second season.

The defending champion Rose, led by Chelsea Gray and newly returned Angel Reese, face the No. 4 seed in the first round after entering as the No. 2 seed last year. Meanwhile, the Phantom have transformed from worst record in 2025 to league's best this season, riding a seven-game winning streak behind Kelsey Plum's 22.6 points per game.
