Taylor Townsend and Katerina Siniakova won the US Open women's doubles title, completing their career Grand Slam as a team. They defeated wild-card pair Ashlyn Krueger and Robin Montgomery 5-7, 6-0, 6-2 at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Townsend was nervous early, but Siniakova helped her settle. "I wanted this really badly," Townsend said. "I felt it in my body and my spirit because I was so nervous." They lost the first three games and the first set, then dominated the next two sets.

"The match was very tight, very tough for us, but we found a way to win it," Siniakova said. It was their first US Open title together and fourth major as a team, after Wimbledon 2024, Australian Open 2025, and French Open earlier this year. Siniakova now has 12 Grand Slam doubles titles.

Krueger and Montgomery, ranked 570th and 610th, had an impressive run, beating both defending champions in the quarterfinals and semifinals. "We're both just trying to take it all in," Montgomery said.

Townsend celebrated with the tournament's Honey Deuce cocktail, one in each hand, and Siniakova joked about next year.
