A deadly shooting at a youth hockey game in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, claimed a third victim Wednesday when Gerald Dorgan died from injuries sustained in the attack. The 56-year-old grandfather had been in critical condition since the shooting last week at the Levy Rink. His daughter, Rhonda Dorgan, and grandson, Aidan Dorgan, were also killed in the incident.

The shooter, identified as Robert Dorgan, who also went by Roberta Esposito and Roberta Dorgano, died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities confirmed the attack was specifically targeted at family members. Robert Dorgan's ex-wife was Rhonda Dorgan, and his adult son was Aidan Dorgan.

Linda Dorgan, the shooter's mother and Rhonda's mother, along with family friend Thomas Geruso, were wounded in the attack. Law enforcement officials credited several bystanders who intervened and contained the shooter in the stands while the crowd fled. Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien expressed heartbreak over the additional death, stating that thoughts and prayers remain with the victims' families and all those impacted by this tragic act of violence.
