Matas Vokietaitis scored 22 points and Tramon Mark added 21 as Texas stunned No. 10 Vanderbilt 80-64 on Wednesday night in Austin. The Longhorns (11-6, 2-2 SEC) earned their second straight win over a ranked opponent after beating Alabama. Texas shot 53 percent while Vanderbilt faltered in the second half.

Vanderbilt (16-1, 3-1) entered undefeated but shot just 26.7 percent after halftime, missing 9 of 10 from beyond the arc. Duke Miles led the Commodores with 21 points. Dailyn Swain posted 14 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for Texas, which dominated inside with 18 first-half points in the paint.

Mark, averaging 19.8 points in conference play, hit consecutive second-half threes to create separation. Chendall Weaver’s fast-break layup and free throws pushed the lead to 12 late. Texas faces tougher SEC tests ahead, while Vanderbilt must regroup after its first loss.
