While several teammates worked out in Paris with Victor Wembanyama, Spurs reserve center Luke Kornet made an impact in San Antonio. A TikTok user captured Kornet helping a stranded motorist Wednesday morning at Wurzbach Parkway and Northwest Military Highway in the rain.

The motorist later thanked Kornet, posting a photo with him and noting his 7-year-old recognized the 7-foot center. "Not Luke Kornet pulling over to help this guy stranded," the driver said in the video captioned "#Luke Kornet Most humble guy ever! 7 in the morning, rain & he chooses to help."

Entering his second season with San Antonio after signing from Boston, the 31-year-old 13-year veteran played 68 games with 25 starts last season, averaging 6.5 points and 6.1 rebounds. He appeared in 23 postseason games as the Spurs reached the NBA Finals before losing to the New York Knicks.

Kornet previously gained attention for a satirical Medium post claiming he left a voicemail recruiting LeBron James to San Antonio, referencing NBA teams' pitch memos to agent Rich Paul. James ultimately signed with the Philadelphia 76ers.
