Zuffa Boxing has secured a significant addition to its roster, announcing a multi-fight deal with four-division world champion Shakur Stevenson. The undefeated 29-year-old, ranked No. 5 pound-for-pound by ESPN, brings a decorated resume that includes world titles at featherweight, junior lightweight, lightweight, and junior welterweight.

Stevenson, known for his defensive prowess and high boxing IQ, is coming off a dominant performance against Teofimo Lopez in January. His statistical dominance, leading championship boxers in plus/minus and connect percentages while being exceptionally difficult to hit, makes him a formidable challenge for any opponent. He joins a growing stable at Zuffa Boxing that includes Conor Benn and Edgar Berlanga.

The signing raises questions about Stevenson's weight class, as Zuffa Boxing does not currently have a 140-pound division. It is anticipated he will vacate his WBO title. Potential matchups against welterweight champions Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia have been discussed, though Zuffa Boxing's limited roster may necessitate collaborations with other promoters to secure high-level opposition for Stevenson's debut, which is expected in the coming weeks.
