Patrick Reed capped off a remarkable Middle East run by winning the Qatar Masters on Sunday, securing his second European tour victory in three weeks. The 35-year-old American closed with a 2-under 70 at Doha Golf Club, holding off late challenges from Jacob Skov Olesen and Calum Hill for a two-shot victory.

Reed's victory guarantees him a full PGA Tour card for 2027, as he now leads the Race to Dubai with 2,259 points. This total already exceeds what the player earned last season to secure the final PGA Tour card. The win follows his Dubai Desert Classic victory and a playoff loss in Bahrain, marking an unprecedented three-week stretch on the European tour.

Reed's journey to this point was unexpected. He arrived in Dubai preparing for his fifth season on LIV Golf but won the Desert Classic against a strong field and revealed he hadn't renewed his LIV deal. Over subsequent days, Reed chose to leave LIV Golf entirely, aiming to return to the PGA Tour while maintaining a full European tour schedule to earn his card.

With his world ranking now inside the top 20 for the first time since 2021, Reed has secured spots in all four majors. He's also set his sights on becoming the second American to win the Race to Dubai, following Collin Morikawa's achievement in 2021. The European tour now takes a week off before heading to Africa for a three-week stretch.

Quick Fact: Reed finished the Qatar Masters at 16-under 272.
