Keshad Johnson defeated Carter Bryant to claim the NBA slam dunk contest championship during All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles. The 2026 event marks the 75th annual All-Star Game, featuring a unique round-robin format with U.S. teams facing a World team at Intuit Dome.

This year's format includes four 12-minute games with each team fielding at least eight players. Team A will play Team B in Game 1, with winners advancing to face Team C. The sides with the top two records will compete in the championship. Los Angeles has hosted the event a record seven times, most recently in 2018.

Weekend festivities began Friday with the celebrity game at Kia Forum, followed by the Rising Stars competition where Team Vince defeated Team Melo. Saturday night saw Damian Lillard edge Devin Booker in the 3-point contest and Team Knicks win the Shooting Stars competition. The HBCU Classic between Hampton and North Carolina A&T concluded Friday's action at Kia Forum.
