McGregor Teases UFC Return Against 'No Name' Opponent

Conor McGregor is once again teasing a UFC comeback, this time willing to face a 'no name' opponent at the promotion's White House event in June. The former two-division champion, who has been inactive since July 2021, took to social media to express his readiness, writing 'I ACCEPT. Send the contract, lads.' This follows his withdrawal from a scheduled bout against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 last year due to a toe injury.

McGregor's post comes after he previously announced and quickly deleted a statement about accepting an opponent and date. The 37-year-old suffered a broken leg in his last fight, a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. While three of his past four appearances were in the lightweight division, his bout against Chandler was set for the welterweight limit at 170 pounds, leaving uncertainty about which weight class he would return to in 2026.

UFC CEO Dana White has welcomed McGregor's potential comeback but confirmed it would no longer be against Chandler. The 'no name' comment suggests McGregor might be targeting a lower-profile opponent for his return, though the multimillion-dollar question remains: who will step into the octagon with the notorious Irishman?
