Jake Paul revealed he underwent a second surgical procedure on his broken jaw after his knockout loss to Anthony Joshua. The YouTube star-turned-boxer shared on Instagram that screws and plates from his initial surgery were coming loose because he didn't rest properly following the December 19 bout.

The injury occurred when Paul (12-2) was brutally knocked out in the sixth round by Joshua, the former two-time unified heavyweight champion. Paul's jaw was fractured in two places, requiring titanium plates and tooth removal during his first surgery on December 20. Despite claiming he wouldn't be out long, this second procedure will likely keep him sidelined for an extended period.

Paul has remained active on social media during his recovery, most recently celebrating his fiancée Jutta Leerdam's gold medal performance at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The 27-year-old has insisted he'll return to boxing despite the setback, but medical professionals typically recommend months of recovery after multiple jaw surgeries.
