Golden State hosts Game 2 of the WNBA Finals at Chase Center, looking to make the most of its home-court advantage. The No. 2 seed Valkyries took a 1-0 lead over the No. 4 Dream with a 68-64 victory on Saturday. Both teams are seeking their first WNBA championship.
Atlanta has appeared in three previous Finals but was swept in each one. Golden State, an expansion franchise in 2025, is making its first Finals trip in just its second season. The Dream posted the best home record in the regular season, going 17-5 at Chase Center.
The Valkyries have won seven consecutive home games, including five playoff contests. Saturday's win also snapped Atlanta's 10-game winning streak, a significant run that carried the team into the Finals.
The series shifts to Atlanta for Games 3 and 4. As the better seed, the Valkyries host Games 2 and, if necessary, 5 and 7 in a 2-2-1-1-1 format. ESPN is courtside at Chase Center providing live analysis throughout the game.
