Tennis star Coco Gauff added a new credit to her résumé on Friday, appearing as an actor in the official music video for rapper Gunna's new single, "Pop It."
The 2 minute, 57 second video opens with Gauff serving up an ace, a moment that serves as the kick-off point for the song's beat. The WTA singles No. 4-ranked player had been teased for the video in the days before its release, appearing in a promotional trailer where she and Gunna play tennis, with one of them succeeding more than the other. "Pop it!" Gunna says in the clip, asking Gauff to serve him another ball.
Gauff appears throughout the full video, swinging her racket and nodding along as Gunna raps. The video then cuts to a black screen displaying the song's title, letting the track's beat drive the visuals.
Off the court, Gauff recently withdrew from the Wuhan Open on Wednesday, citing fatigue. She will return to competition in November, when she represents the U.S. in a Billie Jean King Cup playoff contest against Hungary in her hometown of Delray Beach, Florida.
