Azura Stevens is officially heading back to the Chicago Sky after signing a three-year deal, the team confirmed Saturday. Stevens previously starred for the Sky from 2020 through their 2021 championship run before spending two seasons in Los Angeles with the Sparks. She expressed deep personal connection to the city in her statement.

Stevens enjoyed a career year in 2025, posting 12.8 points and 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting over 38% from deep. That performance earned her runner-up status in the Most Improved Player voting, demonstrating her significant development since leaving Chicago. She also secured an Unrivaled title last year.

Chicago is aggressively reshaping its core after two straight playoff misses. The acquisition of Stevens follows the recent trade sending Angel Reese to Atlanta and the re-signing of center Elizabeth Williams to a two-year extension. The Sky hold the No. 5 pick in the upcoming draft as they attempt to rebuild momentum quickly.

Drafted sixth overall in 2018, Stevens adds veteran championship experience to a roster clearly undergoing massive structural change this offseason. The team is investing heavily in established talent to elevate their standing immediately.
