Arizona has secured a major recruiting victory with the commitment of Caleb Holt, the No. 4-ranked prospect in the 2026 SC Next 100. The 6-foot-5 guard from Georgia announced his decision Tuesday on ESPN's "First Take," choosing the Wildcats over finalists Houston, Kentucky, Alabama, Providence and Arkansas.

Holt's commitment marks the highest-ranked recruit for Tommy Lloyd since he took over in Tucson, surpassing previous five-star signees Koa Peat and Brayden Burries. The connection between Holt and Lloyd began last summer when Lloyd coached him with the USA Basketball U19 team, where Holt won a gold medal and developed confidence in the coach's leadership style.

The Georgia native brings an impressive resume to Arizona, including three gold medals with USA Basketball and MVP honors at the Adidas Eurocamp in Italy. Holt excelled on the Adidas 3SSB circuit last summer, averaging 19.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.5 steals. His two-way versatility as an energy defender with a 6-9 wingspan and improved offensive game makes him one of the most complete prospects in the 2026 class.
