Dayton Webber, a former professional cornhole player, faces murder charges after allegedly shooting Brad Wells in southern Maryland. According to court documents, the two were arguing about drugs, guns and a woman when Webber fatally shot Wells while driving his Tesla on March 22.

Wells and Webber, who were born in the same month and shared interests in hunting and motocross, had reportedly dated the same woman. Two passengers in the backseat told police they heard a heated argument before the shooting occurred. Webber allegedly asked them to help remove Wells' body from the vehicle, but they refused and exited the car.

Police later found Webber in Charlottesville, Virginia seeking hospital treatment. His Tesla, equipped with exterior cameras for autopilot and safety features, is now evidence in the investigation. Police obtained search warrants for the vehicle's thumb drive and Webber's clothing, noting blood on his shirt despite no visible injuries. Webber, who earned $100,000 last year as a self-employed motivational speaker and cornhole player, is scheduled for a bond hearing Wednesday.
