Family of Epstein Victim Appears in Ad Targeting Republican

A Democrat running for Congress in Colorado's Fifth Congressional District released an ad featuring the family of Virginia Giuffre, a prominent Jeffrey Epstein victim, targeting Republican Representative Jeff Crank. The ad accuses Mr. Crank of blocking the release of federal Epstein files and refusing to meet with Ms. Giuffre's relatives. Sky Roberts, Ms. Giuffre's brother, appears in the ad stating, "Jeff Crank covered up Epstein's crimes to protect Donald Trump." The couple, both constituents of Mr. Crank, say they repeatedly requested meetings but were denied. Mr. Crank did not sign the bipartisan discharge petition for the Epstein Files Transparency Act but ultimately voted to approve the legislation on the House floor.

The family joined protests outside his Colorado Springs office and met with his district director. Ms. Giuffre, who died by suicide last year, was the first of Epstein's victims to go public, accusing him and Ghislaine Maxwell of recruiting her as a minor for sex trafficking. She also accused Prince Andrew of sexual assault, which he denied. The ad comes as Epstein-related issues dominate midterm races, with at least 35 congressional contests featuring ads mentioning the case since January 2026.
