Two Republican congresswomen have reviewed unredacted Jeffrey Epstein files and allege that some names redacted in public documents belong to co-conspirators who are claiming victim status. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna and Rep. Lauren Boebert, both members of the House Oversight Committee, say the documents reveal troubling connections that contradict public narratives.

Luna described Ghislaine Maxwell as a "monster" after viewing the files, stating that Maxwell was engaged in trafficking and rape of young women and potentially children. Maxwell, who was moved to a more comfortable prison facility over the summer, declined to answer questions from House lawmakers in a recent deposition. She reportedly indicated willingness to testify that neither President Trump nor former President Bill Clinton had done anything wrong in their connections with Epstein.

Both lawmakers expressed outrage at what they saw in the unredacted documents. Boebert stated she believes Maxwell deserves harsher treatment and should receive more prison time. The congresswomen's statements have intensified political debate over the Epstein case and raised questions about who is truly being protected in the ongoing investigation.
