Bertram Capital backs Percopo Coatings as fifth Ignite fund platform

Mike and Victoria Percopo founded Percopo Coatings Company in 2003. The firm provides painting, coatings, and restoration services across commercial, industrial, and institutional structures in the Southeastern US. Bertram Capital has invested in the company for undisclosed terms.

This acquisition marks the fifth platform investment for Bertram's Ignite fund. Bertram Labs, the firm's in-house technology team, will support PCC's growth. Bertram, a lower mid-market investor founded in 2006, has raised over $4.0 billion in capital commitments.

Bertram plans to support PCC's expansion through acquisitions and partnerships. Bertram credited Cook M&A and Ashurst Perkins Coie for deal execution. Percopo Coatings is headquartered in Longwood, Florida.

The company self-performs across multiple trades, including interior and exterior painting, waterproofing, seamless flooring, sandblasting, and fireproofing. Its client base spans commercial, institutional, hospitality, aviation, education, and government sectors. Project work includes airports, resorts, theme parks, schools, and federal buildings.

Bertram Vice President Zack Bassi commented on the investment, citing the entrepreneurial spirit required to operate successful trades businesses.
