The former Chicago Bears linebacker Otis Wilson was involved in an altercation with security at Soldier Field on Sunday following the Bears' game against the New York Jets. Monterrey Security stated that Wilson, without credentials, forced his way onto a media-only elevator and became physically combative, allegedly throwing a female officer into a wall. Wilson claimed he and his wife were assaulted by security personnel after boarding the elevator with media.
The female officer, an off-duty law enforcement officer, was hospitalized with rib and arm injuries. Chicago police are investigating the incident at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Both parties have agreed to cooperate with authorities.
