Title: CMC Markets Directors Buy Shares Amid Rising Trading Volume

Content: CMC Markets' chief executive Lord Cruddas and head of global strategic partnerships David Fineberg each purchased around £139,000 worth of shares, buying at 604p and 598p respectively. The acquisitions follow CMC's July trading update that lifted net operating income guidance to at least £550m for the year to March 2027, up from the previous £460m-480m range. The company credited growth in its business-to-business platforms, which allow income to rise against a largely fixed-cost base, with operating costs expected around £280m. The firm reported a 15% rise in net operating income to £393m and 20% increase in pre-tax profit to £101m in 2025-26, alongside a 21% dividend increase to 13.8p. CMC's Australian arm delivered record A$140m net operating income, up 32%, driven by a major partnership with Westpac covering A$39bn in assets.
