Player & Roster Moves
The Seahawks secured two key pieces by exercising the fifth-year options for wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and top cornerback Devon Witherspoon, locking in their 2025 salaries as both transition into potentially higher-value roles. In Tennessee, early indications of strong locker room culture emerged when quarterback Cam Ward crashed Robinson's introductory news conference to publicly back new wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson, demonstrating immediate cohesion between the young offensive players.
League Activities
Away from team facilities, the NFL's global reach was evident as legendary quarterback Tom Brady excelled in exhibition play, leading Team USA to a decisive victory at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic on Saturday. This performance, where Brady shined brightly, served as a high-profile showcase for the non-tackle version of the sport gaining international traction.
