Peter Pacelli, who leads Granite Creek Capital’s agribusiness strategy and was recently promoted to managing director, is featured in PE Hub’s Dealmakers to Watch series. After graduating from Yale and working at Bank of America during the 2007 financial crisis, Pacelli sought change through private equity and military service. He joined Wind Point Partners in 2009 and served as an intelligence officer in the US Navy Reserve for eight years concurrently, citing a desire for purpose and leadership development beyond New York finance.

Following an MBA from the University of Chicago and roles at Victory Views and Knox Capital, Pacelli joined Granite Creek, where he now leads agribusiness investments. In related news, Authentic Brands Group, backed by CVC Capital Partners, General Atlantic and Leonard Green & Partners, acquired a majority stake in the intellectual property of October’s Very Own (OVO), the Canadian lifestyle brand co-founded by Drake. The deal underscores Authentic Brands’ continued focus on lifestyle IP expansion.
