In iOS 27, releasing Monday, Apple introduces iPhone Handoff, letting you use one phone number on two iPhones. Announced at the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo launch event, it will initially be available on T-Mobile in the US and Telekom in Germany.

Today, T-Mobile revealed the cost: $5 per month. Handoff lets you use one T-Mobile number across two iPhones, but it can only be active on one iPhone at a time.

iPhone Handoff will be available to any iPhone with iOS 27 via Settings. Since the new iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo launch with iOS 27, it works right out of the box.
