U.S. regulators have once again postponed a key hedge fund disclosure requirement. The Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission announced Monday that the filing deadline for Form PF has been pushed to July 1. This marks the fourth delay for the rule, which requires large hedge funds and private fund advisers to report detailed financial positions.

The data is intended to help agencies monitor systemic risks, such as counterparty exposures, sudden margin calls, or events that could destabilize markets. The postponement gives firms more time to comply with the expanded reporting standards originally proposed to enhance financial oversight.
