Daryz seeks to retain his Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe crown in the 2026 renewal of Europe's richest race - live on Sky Sports Racing at 3.05pm. Francis-Henri Graffard's colt will look for an historic back-to-back double, bidding to be the first colt since Alleged in 1978 to achieve this feat.
Daryz returned strongly in the Prix Ganay and Prix Aga Khan IV. After a stall five draw, the short-priced favourite reopposes Coronation Cup winner Bay City Roller, whom he beat in the Prix Foy despite being only 75 per cent fit. Kalpana, seventh last year, seeks redemption against her own sex while aiming to emulate Bluestocking. William Haggas's Maltese Cross chases his first Arc after winning the Grand Prix de Paris and Great Voltigeur Stakes, though stall 11 is a concern.
Aidan O'Brien runs three Classic winners, with Ryan Moore choosing Irish Derby winner Benvenuto Cellini over Diamond Necklace in stall 16. Last year's runner-up Minnie Hauk, partnered by William Buick, completes the trio. Meanwhile, Aventure headlines the Group 1 Prix de l'Opera Longines at 3.50, having won eight of 12 starts against fillies and mares.
