Jonny Brownlee announced his retirement from professional triathlon at age 36 after a nearly 30-year career. The six-time world champion and Olympic medallist reflected on his journey, saying it was time to move on. Former coach Coz Tantrum praised the brothers' Yorkshire heart and grit, recalling their early training at City of Bradford swimming club and Aireborough Leisure Centre in Guiseley.

She highlighted their loyalty, especially Alistair helping Jonny over the line in 2016. PE teacher Matt Wilde taught all three Brownlee brothers at Bradford Grammar School, noting their intelligence and ambition. The Brownlee Foundation continues to inspire youth through mini-triathlon events.

Their legacy remains strong in Horsforth, Leeds, and across Great Britain.
